PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Welcome to the
BROADWAY STRZ®
Believe Awards home page. We enjoy the privilege of being
the first local theatre group to establish an award show
dedicated to the school districts in the Temecula, Murrieta,
Lake Elsinore and Menifee Unified School Districts to
include all private schools. It's an awards show for young
artists who love to perform on stage whether in elementary,
middle or high school. During my long standing membership
as an Artistic Director with theatre groups in San Diego,
New Zealand, LA County, and the Inland Valley, as an Inland
Theatre League Awards judge and now as a Judge for the
National Youth Theatre Awards, I became more aware that the
majority of young stars were not receiving the recognition
they deserve when performing in their local theatre school
programs. So, as a champion of the youth through our
theatre company here in Murrieta, BROADWAY STRZ®
- Family Performer's Theatre Academy, I "Believe" the
school districts and their students are being missed when it
comes to "Arts Awards," and that they should have their own
special award show.
So as part of
the program I envisioned, I wanted to commit myself to
promoting wholesome family entertainment by awarding those
school plays and talent shows that dedicate themselves to
that goal. Thus, besides nominating young artists, we also
nominate the teacher director for the Director of the Year
Award.
In addition
through contributions from supporters like yourself, we
established a scholarship fund for physically and/or
financially challenged young artists, who, without this
assistance, would find it difficult to pursue their dream of
the performing arts.

Every elementary, middle, high school and
private school who were sent a letter/email to the
Principal, Assistant Principal and Drama/Theatre Arts
teacher/Talent-Variety show teacher must fill out the form
below only once to register their school to participate in
the
BROADWAY STRZ®
Believe Awards. Once you have submitted this form you will
be officially registered and an email confirmation will be
sent back to the address you list to confirm your
participation in the program.
Once you
have registered your school, you will need to keep us
informed of any plays and/or talent-variety shows that you
have coming up this school season that you would like us to
judge, by either using the link below or by emailing us at
believeawards@broadwaystarz.com.
PLEASE GIVE US AT LEAST 30
DAYS NOTICE (when possible)

Believe Awards has established a Scholarship
Fund in connection with it's Award Ceremony Each year we
present
scholarships to gifted young artists who may be
physically and/or
financially challenged. Without this assistance these
artists would find it
difficult to pursue their dream of the performing arts.
Any donation is gratefully appreciated and tax
deductible. The Scholarship
Program is funded exclusively by your donations. As a
non-profit organization,
proceeds from the ceremony are used to cover expenses.
